The OK-N engine is an “open” engine formula, meaning the builder can machine and port the engine to optimize and properly tune the engine. We have spent many hours building and testing the OK-N, and it shows in our results. We recently won the Stars Championship Series OK-N final at New Castle Motorsports Park. NCMP is the most demanding motor track in the US, and we dominated engines built by the leading builders in Europe. Our build process results in huge gains; we see an increase of 3 hp over a stock engine, with a much broader midrange and useable powerband. There is no need to go overseas to get an OK-N; the best are being built right here in Connecticut. Our process to build an OK-N takes a full day, and involves:

*compete disassembly of the engine, including all case bearings

*crankcase machined and surface finished to optimize flow by smoothing transitions and perfectly matching components.

*cylinder ports are polished and shaped to optimize flow and match case.

*ports are mapped, and ports reshaped to optimize port timing (exhaust port timing as it relates to transfer port timing is the key to 2-stroke engine performance).

*cylinder is re-honed using our proprietary combination of stones to achieve specific crosshatch pattern and depth.

*piston is machined to achieve specific weight

*engine is reassembled and broken in on the dyno

*carb and reed cage are tuned on the dyno
